COURSE INTRODUCTION
TIME: 10.30am – 12.30pm LOCATION: 6/1761 Pittwater Road, Mona Vale DATE: Please select suitable date above. It is important for everyone to know some first aid. If you are a parent, carer or family member, knowing how to effectively handle a situation involving a child in distress or danger is especially important. While accidents can happen anywhere, most injuries to children happen at home. The severity of these incidents vary. For example, you may need to help a child who:- has a small cut on their finger
- has broken a limb in the yard
- has lost consciousness and needs protection
- is in a life threatening situation, such as a severe allergy attack
- Medical needs
- Trauma
- Environment
- and Resuscitation.

We did the infant and child first aid course, I can highly recommend it. Very small personal classes and the topics are discussed in detail, with lots of hands on practical work. Mitchell was very accommodating and discussed topics that were relevant to us. We left feeling very confident that we had enough knowledge to happily look after our grandson.
